Columbus, Georgia May 15-18, 2008
Our May reunion this year is in Columbus, Georgia and Fort Benning "Home of the Infantry". Check in will be Thursday May 15th, Ft. Benning visit, show and lunch with the troops will be on Friday. Saturday features a huge indoor/outdoor festival and BBQ at Karl and Sharron Derums home. They have the facilities for up to 100 people and we're hoping to get 70 or 80 this year. We have booked the entire Country Inn & Suites except 5 suites which are rented out annually. That leaves us with 59 total rooms & suites for our reunion. One is a complimentary "conference" suite and will be given to the Hosts to use during the reunion. So that leaves just 18 suites and 40 regular rooms. The regular room rate is $84 per night and the 2 room one king suites are $110 and the two room two-queen suites are $129. For reservations call Country Inn & Suites at 706-256-6390 and tell them you are with the Angry Skipper Group. The group rate is good for three days prior and three days after the reunions dates. The rooms are on a "first come" basis and we hope to sell out the 58 rooms quickly, so don't wait to make your room reservation. There is another hotel that will take our overflow at the same room rates but it's 1/4 mile down the road (walking distance and within sight) so if you want to be in the main hotel call in before the end of February or March at the latest. The expenses for buses, food, beverages, condiments, rentals etc. will be divided by the number of adults present and it should make this one of the least expensive reunions we've ever had. Remember, RESERVE YOUR ROOM EARLY! For reservations call 706-256-6390 (Country Inn and Suites.

Angry Skipper June Reunion 2006, Virginia City, NV
Well if you are planning a small reunion of 25 to 35 people let me recommend Virginia City, Nevada and the Silver Queen Hotel. We had a great time and our hosts were actually crying when we had to depart. The whole town bent over backwards to make sure we had a good time. Our buffet at the Delta Saloon was as good as you can get anywhere and half the cost. See Photos At:Renunion 2006
